I am new to FormaLms and want install in my office to test its features and functionalists.Any one can help me out in this..

my objective are follows;

1. installation of Fomalms
2. Publish SCORM packages
3. reporting of students on email to manager
4. LDAP authentication or SSO
5 Custom logos and look
....

Following i need to know;

1. i need installation guide
2. does formlms support sql 2012 r2 server
3. any customization guide.

forma.lms is supported only for mysql database (any version from 5.0 )

For a brief installation guide and server pre-requisites you can read the README.TXT files inside the tarball / zip.

Manuals are available at sourceforge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/forma/files/manuals/
All files are about doceboce 4.x , the predecessor of forma.lms , and are yet usable.
Other manuals links can be found in this forum.

many tutorials are available on internet, try google search to find them.

Thank you for you reply.. positive news is i have successfully installed formalms. Now i am stuck with following tasks; if you can help me about these.

- customize logo and look & feel , could not find option
- upload scorm packages
- automate reoports
- managing user , course and enrollment.

please help me about these

- logo + look & feel => you don't change those things through the interface, you have to do it manually. Logo and image on the landing page can easily be oveewritten inside the "templates" folder, provided you use the same file names and dimensions. Changing the general look & feel (colors etc.) requires web designs skills

- upload: well... create a course, go to the teacher area and upload a scorm...

- reports: create a report via administration area > elearning > reports. You might want to schedule them to be e-mailed, in that case you need to set up a cron on your server

- managing users.... => take a look at the user manual or at the threads on this forum. If you need training and or consulting, let us know......
