we are working on this topic .
with new release of forma.lms v1.4 that will be available in the next weeks , the google sign on will be switched to use oauth 2.0

To use google oatuh authentication a site must register to google and generate an application acces key.

All site using google authentication will be encouraged to upgrade to forma 1.4 .

we choosed another library for oauth connection .
we will adopt PHPoAuthLib by Lusitanian ( https://github.com/Lusitanian/PHPoAuthLib ) with connector for many oauth provider ( as social web) .
In a near future all oauth login available in forma will be implemented with this library.
