I want to write new code for Formalms. And I want to new Course Complete condition
I think write like this example;
İf (Course Total Time = Average time) (Course = Complete)
But my problem , I don't know where to write this code.İf you know "course complete" file. You say me please.
it's interesting and I understand your requirement. I suppose it comes from some governmental mandatory compliance training, where the regulations say that you need to spend at least a certain amount of time in the course. I imagine that, because in Italy we have that kind of thing....
In Forma, course completion is related to the completion of an object. And, to me, rightfully so. If it wasn't so, you could in theory stay inside one empty course for XX hours (or stay in front of one single slide for XX hours) and you'd have completed the course. If I was a regulator, I would consider that crazy.
To achieve what you described, you would need to add another course completion logic to the one Forma currently has. But in my opinion it would be a very wrong logic.
I suggest you to think in a different way. Let the course completion work as it does right now, but relate the issuing of a certificate to the time spent in the course. That is much easier (and more "correct"). And it is also something that we already built, exactly for the same need.
Thank you for answer.
You say true.But my think is alternative complete process.Because some institutions happen needs this like solutions.
Also, my think will be an extra choice. System will show completed course when a user completes the all course documents and the average time
if developer friends know "complete file" into LMS, write me.
I am new to Forma and its community.
I believe this question is relevant to this post?
I need to know how to restrict course access to subscribed user after a certain period.
Assume the Course ABC has been created and intention is to provide access to only 50days from the date of subscription for anyone who has subscribed for this course. Can pls someone guide how to go about it?
Or is there any admin settings available?
it's much simpler than that, and actually the question is a little different than the one posted into this thread. I'll reply you in your other thread, here viewtopic.php?f=12&t=12729
